Restoring Hearts and Minds Through Trauma Resolution

At Wellspring, we’ve always been dedicated to restoring hearts and minds. Our Bounce Program is in full swing this week, providing support and therapy for youth who have experienced trauma. Looking forward to our Restore Retreat, we provide the same support for adults who have also experienced trauma or a major negative event in their lives.

What is Restore Retreat?

Restore Retreat is a five-day retreat for adults who have experienced a major adverse event or trauma. The Retreat includes individual and small group therapy and three small group therapy sessions two months after the Retreat to check in and allow your progress since the Retreat.

The Benefits of Attending Restore Retreat

With regular therapy, there can be a lot happening in between sessions. Taking care of kids, going to work, attending university, and all the other everyday things of life can serve as distractions from your mental health. Restore Retreat is designed to help you take a step back from work and family for a moment and create an environment where you can focus on processing your trauma, new and old, in individual therapy and small group sessions.

How We Adjust to Your Needs

While we host small group therapy for this Retreat and try to ensure groups are created based on shared negative experiences, you are not forced to speak or share anything you are uncomfortable with. If you need more individual time privately, it can be arranged for you as needed.

Restore is Back In-Person

Our next Restore Retreat is happening September 25-29th, 2022 at the beautiful Morningstar Renewal Center and registration is now open!

If you’re still unsure whether the Restore Retreat is worth going through, listen to testimonies on our latest podcast from Jim, Emily, and Madeleine on how Restore Retreat was able to help them through their traumas.
