Finding Hope and Healing

Eating disorders are complex mental health conditions that impact millions of people, yet they often go unnoticed or are misunderstood. National Eating Disorders Awareness Week serves as a reminder that no one has to struggle in silence. Eating disorders come in many forms, with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder being among the most common. These disorders are not just about food—they are deeply connected to emotions, self-worth, and past experiences. Signs of an eating disorder can include drastic changes in eating habits, an intense preoccupation with weight or body image, excessive exercise, withdrawal from loved ones, and physical symptoms like dizziness, extreme fatigue, or digestive issues.

How To Start Recovery and Healing

Recovery is not only possible—it’s worth it. The road to healing looks different for everyone but taking that first step toward help can be life changing. While it may feel overwhelming, true freedom is attainable, and no one has to face this battle alone.
