Telehealth, or online therapy, is a convenient way to meet with your counselor each week. All you need is a reliable internet connection, a device that can use zoom, a private space and if needed or wanted headphones.
Telehealth makes it easier for clients to match with a therapist they connect with, despite distance or schedule.
Wellspring’s telehealth clinicians are all professional counselors holding a range of licenses from student interns, to state registered interns and fully licensed interns. They offer the same level of professional therapy online as in person.
We also have telehealth therapists who have licenses in North and South Carolina.

• Ensure a private space with a stable internet connection and consider using headphones for privacy.
• You can switch between online and in-person sessions if you are close to your clinician’s office.
Note:
• Telehealth sessions are on Zoom; phone calls are not considered telehealth.
• Therapy cannot occur if you travel out of your clinician’s licensed state.
• Some services may not be available online.
• Wellspring uses HIPAA-compliant Zoom through Insync.

Wellspring houses some of its offices within churches. This arrangement has 3 advantages:
1) Clients see that local churches care about their mental health needs;2) We can cross-refer our clients to receive spiritual care, social connections, and Bible teaching within a local community;
3) This reduces our overhead costs, allowing us to serve more clients.
