Fast Track Therapy. This is simply a number of sessions of therapy that happen in a very short period of time, such as several days in a row or multiple sessions over a week or two. The content of the therapy sessions is not different than it would be over weekly sessions, and does not include experiential therapy opportunities unless assigned as homework or add-ons.
Individual Intensive Therapy. Clients engaging in Intensive Therapy follow a structure to include an intake, assessments, goal setting, a client workbook, talk therapy, mental health education content if appropriate, EMDR sessions, and experiential work.
Group Intensive Therapy – Bounce™ and Restore™. These are scheduled group intensives which have the added benefit of group therapy and learning the Circle of Truth™ resilience curriculum created by Wellspring’s President and Co-Founder, Tova Kreps.
In traditional therapy, clients tackle weekly presenting concerns, which vary in complexity. Therapists customize modalities to address these, unpacking issues, processing emotions, and nurturing coping mechanisms. The duration of therapy varies based on the client’s needs and the nature of their concerns, spanning weeks, months, or even years to achieve comprehensive healing and growth.
In Intensives, clients focus on one major concern or goal, maximizing time with structured sessions covering history, psychoeducation, EMDR processing, and experiential work for efficient work.
Intensive work does not guarantee full healing. It may kick-start deeper healing, shorten therapy, or serve as the final stage of therapy.
Other advantages include:
• Resolve and heal issues quickly, beneficial for those with urgent life demands like professionals, executives, athletes, or students.
• Therapy time is more efficient, minimizing “checking in” or “reviewing” in weekly sessions.
• Longer sessions allow for deeper work.
• Minimize distress or negative reactions by continuing work swiftly.
• Individual Intensives are offered at a bulk rate, lower than the total of separate sessions; Fast-Track Therapy is per session.
• Experiential work in Intensives complements therapy.
• Commitment and short-term focus of Intensives and Fast-Track Therapy increase resolution and healing likelihood.
• Intensives suit couples or families with challenging schedules.
• Access unique programs for non-local clients.
