Oversight of therapist team and student internship program. Carry a client load of five clients. Supervise registered interns and student interns weekly. Organize monthly meetings for the therapist team such as clinical trainings and group supervision. Provide clinical oversight for all Wellspring sites and for ongoing trauma-focused programs for adults and youth. Work with front office, billing, and insurance teams to resolve issues and communicate effectively with clients and therapists. Work with the program development team.
Lindsey enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it be lounging at the beach or going on a walk. She enjoys working out and reading, especially mystery novels. She has a heart for missions and lived in both Peru and Ecuador, serving vulnerable youth. She is grateful for God’s goodness to her, demonstrated through the love of her husband, family, and friends.
Lindsey began her career in 2012 as a counselor working and living part-time in residential facilities with girls and women coming out of human trafficking in Atlanta, Georgia. She trained in EMDR and began to develop her specializations in trauma and attachment work in these early years. She opened her own private practice in Atlanta, where she continued to work with trauma survivors. She has worked with individuals and families, as well as teens and kids. After moving to Miami in 2017, she worked at Wellspring as a therapist for years before becoming the Counseling Manager and now Clinical Director. She has also enjoyed hosting Wellspring’s podcast channel, Wellspring on the Air, for a number of years.
